Erard London Harp Resonator Box Circa 1840s-50s

Very Unusual and unique London Erard Harp Resonator Box Circa 1840s-1850s.
Not much is mentioned about this resonator box system made by Erard London, but we will post new information as we find it. The research on this box is an ongoing work. These are very very rare!
As far as we know, this is the only known existing Erard Harp box in existence. There is none in any museums or institutions we have seen yet! Patience as we search please!

The way this is used is like a small stage for the harpist! The Harpist sits on the box with the harp. When the harp is played, the vibrations and sound from the harp resonates through the box amplifying the sound. We have just tried this with one of our harps and have to say that I am very impressed with how this box works. It gives the Harp a much larger volume of sound.
