Here is a copy of the photo of the Broadwood Concert Grand that is very similar to the Chopin Model Broadwood Grand
From Broadwood Archives: No.15402 is described as a 6½ octave Patent Victoria grand in satin wood and was sold on 12 April 1842 to F A Morris, 25 Hyde Park Gardens, Victoria Gate, London.
I have this piano.. purchased it at an estate sale. Do you have any idea of the general value (of course the amount of work that needs to be done would impact this.. just trying to get an idea)
The Chopin Model Broadwood which is offered for sale should have a gadroon edge around the big top-lid. Page 161 of the book "Broadwood by Appointment" by David Wainwright, clearly shows this. Other illustrations do too. I happen to have #16435,made in 1847. If you wish I could email pictures of it.
