William Jenkins and Sons, Art Cased Scuplted Rosewood Cabinet Pianoforte circa 1840s. English piano maker know for his expanding and Collapsing pianofortes and his fantastic Cabinet Pianos. The fretwork of this alone shows a class of its own. Mirrors are set behind each of the candle holder areas in order to illuminate more into the room. Case made of beautiful Rio Rosewood.

Ignace Pleyel Square pianoforte serial number 13799 - Year 1846

Large square pianoforte made by Ignace Pleyel Paris serial number 13799 made in the year 1846. Case made of rosewood with a ribbed edging around case. X form legs stand connected to the Lyra system.Pianos like this are such beautiful pieces of furniture and beautiful sounding instrument for music .

Very special unique art cased square pianoforte made by Johann Christian Andrée Circa 1830s Berlin Germany

A unique entry into the world of strange and unique pianos.

Square pianoforte with an extraordinary case  with a story behind it. We can see this piano was not made in the form or styles of most...highly refined pieces of wood, colors and adapting serpents and crows into the design.  In the years of my research and history have I ever come across such a magnificent piece of furniture and musical instrument. We have posted a few photos as we go along in this new adventure in this pianofortes history...

Unique Pianino made by Pleyel Paris serial number 18058 made in the year 1852.

Special sculpted oak case is Renaissance style . Two winged griffons adding a stature along the front panel of the piano protecting the piano as guardians. This special and unique piano was Ordered by Charles Louis Ambroise Thomas (5 August 1811 – 12 February 1896) famously known French composer, best known for his operas Mignon (1866) and Hamlet (1868, after Shakespeare) and as Director of the Conservatoire de Paris from 1871 till his death.

Art Cased Erard London Upright piano serial number 14188 year circa 1874


Exceptional  piano not for the mark, but for the wood that was used. Mainly being made of Coromandel, this piano is considered one of the most prized works by this maker we have come by. During the Victorian era in England and around the world, furniture makers built some of the finest pieces possible using this highly sought after wood, making it in such demand that they over forested and it is now extinct.  This wood was traded like gold and diamonds...
