London Square made by Thomas Butcher piano sculpted rosewood circa 1840

Thomas Butcher London Square Piano circa 1840
Unusual formed early square piano made by Thomas Butcher of London.
Formed in what in French is called a ‘Gueridon’ or what I would call in English a Mono-pod stand.
An excellent example of the class one would represent in the early Victorian Era . Sculpted case of beautiful Rosewood supported on a Mono pod support circled by Acanthus Leaves . Feet in form of Griffon feet.
