Jean Henri Pape Upright pianoforte Prototypes 2016/2017 year 1840 ![]() A first for Palace Pianos! This is unusual as we are selling a pair, yes two pianoforte made by Jean Henri Pape of Paris. Reason being is both of these marvelous pianoforte made by this ingenious maker are both proto types one following the other, hence the serial number 2016/2017. Both being made in the years 1830. Both piano are of the same form but inside have different Mechanical systems in them! He had invented a string tension plate which he adapted on one where the other was plainer!
