Small Pianino serial number 54 made by Baptiste Hatzenbuhler et Faure Paris Circa 1835. Case made of the best pieces of flamed Rosewood that could be found, further inlaid with ivory and brass and copper inlay in floral designs and musical instruments.
Records do not show much information about this maker and history other then he was known for not only his beautiful pianos, but also he specialized in making of cases of pianos for other makers. This being said, it is rare that a case maker is acknowledged for the art beauty and history, this piano stands out on its own. Unique Pianino made by Pleyel Paris serial number 18058 made in the year 1852.
Special sculpted oak case is Renaissance style . Two winged griffons adding a stature along the front panel of the piano protecting the piano as guardians. This special and unique piano was Ordered by Charles Louis Ambroise Thomas (5 August 1811 – 12 February 1896) famously known French composer, best known for his operas Mignon (1866) and Hamlet (1868, after Shakespeare) and as Director of the Conservatoire de Paris from 1871 till his death.
