Fully sculpted art cased upright piano serial number 57984 made by Bluthner - Year 1901.

Walnut cased sculpted in a Rococo style case having been resurfaced with hand polished french polish.

The piano was in original state with the electric lamps still in so we had the electric system rewired and restored back to how it was in the 1900s.

A small pianino made by Pfeffel in paris circa 1840, this early piano is a restored and playing piano.

Erard Art cased upright piano serial number 79198 made in the year 1899,

one of the finest examples of craftsmanship in Luxury furniture from the 19th century Beaux Art period.

This piano offers a glimpse into the masterpieces of 19th century furniture by the period’s pre-eminent craftsman of  Alfred Beurdeley, including François Linke, Guillaume Grohé, Mathieu Befort and Henry Dasson. The piano focuses on signed pieces in the French royal styles of the Ancien Régime and evokes the Beaux Arts building projects of the 19th century, when new international elite competed to furnish their Renaissance style châteaux with palatial furniture and objects such as pianos. This piano offers collectors the opportunity to acquire exceptional works of art and music in a continuation of this proud tradition...

Pianino made by
Matthias Ferdinand Rachals, Hamburg Serial number 435 - Circa 1840

MATHIAS FERDINAND RACHALS (1801-1866) had made pianos of all kinds in Hamburg since 1832 making this pianino one of the early ones he made.

Case made of rosewood. The wooden Framed piano is in its original condition, together with the original strings and the tuning pins.
The strings are placed vertical .
The Hammers are covered by felt with a hallowed area similar to the early Pleyel hammers in Paris.
Two pedals, left one is for the dampening, the right activates the bichord to the una-corda effect.
Typical Pianino from the Chopin Era
Compass:  F 1 – f  4  (6 oktaves).
