Beautiful and unusual Pianino made by Ignace Pleyel serial number 12576 year 1845.
Special case made with (flat) rosewood with a fretwork top in a semi Gothic style. Do-La 6th octaves and a sixth. Piano was rented for concerts on October of 1845. Selling price of this model was 1000 FF gold francs.
What is also interesting is that if you can imagine, only the rich or the royals would afford pianos during this time! The Piano back then was considered a luxury item to have in anyone household! The value of a piano in this time today is the equivalent to the price of a high end sports car such as a Porsche or a Jaguar.
