A Pianino Pleyel by Ignace Pleyel of Paris, serial number 7729 made in the year 1839. ![]() This is a rare model, being on that is what they call "Tropicalized". ![]() Looking at the back of the piano where the support bars are, you will find two different sets of metals bars running up and down. These are to hold the pressure of the tension of the piano, helping serve as resistance in Tropicalized areas such as South America and humid type areas and similar. ![]() This is also a Bi Chord piano having only two strings per note. Chopin was known to have favored the Bi Chord Pianinos of Pleyel. ![]() ![]() Case of piano is made of bi colored rosewood with inner linings of Brass and reversed grained Rosewood. Historical information about this piano: Pleyel started building the piano in 04/09/1839 and it was finished in 13/02/1840.
